Hanrahan Associates
Established in 1993, Hanrahan Associates set out to provide a specialist recruitment service to International Banks, with the main focus on Fixed Income Markets (Cash and Derivatives), Structured Products, Foreign Exchange and Money Markets. Initially we concentrated on trading, structuring and sales personal. Subsequently we broadened our field to also include Research; recruiting Market Strategists, Economists, Credit Analysts and Front Office Quants.

Current opportunities
We are working for a progressive organisation and recruiting a team of Asset Repackaging/Restructuring Specialists, Asset Sourcers/Originators covering Europe and Asset Distributers for Asia, MENA, US & UK. Candidates need to have a very solid background in Fixed Income Somutions either marketing or structuring. Marketers need to have a well established client network at senior level.

Outlook for 2012
There's no getting away from the fact that a tough year lies ahead! Obviously nothing can be caste in stone at this stage, but all the signs we are getting from our clients is that there will be selective hires come 2012. It's very easy to get into a frame of mind where 'doom and gloom' prevails and whilst it would be foolish to start saying the future recruitment wise looks rosy, there are positive signs from our clients that we will have positions to fill in the New Year.
